Women's Resource Center to host "The Yellow
Dress"
The Women's Resource Center at the University of Michigan-Dearborn
will host an educational theater presentation of The Yellow Dress
at 4 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 8 in Lecture Hall B of the School of Management
Building as part of the campus's of Domestic Violence Awareness

Accreditation team set to visit campus
A team representing the Higher Learning Commission
of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools will visit
UM-Dearborn Sept. 29-Oct. 1 to review the campus's application for
continued accreditation. The eight-member team will be chaired by

Campus ranks high in annual survey
The University of Michigan-Dearborn was rated
among the top 10 public universities offering master's degrees in
the Midwest in the annual guide to American colleges published last
month by U.S. News. In addition, the campus's College of Engineering
and Computer Science was rated among the top undergraduate engineering

Women engineers offer program for highschoolers
The University of Michigan-Dearborn chapter of the
Society of Women Engineers will host a free informational program
for high school students from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Sunday, Sept.

Training and Development Center
The University of Michigan-Dearborn will be able to
pursue ambitious plans to expand enrollment with the acquisition
of Ford Motor Company's Fairlane Training and Development Center
on Hubbard Drive in Dearborn.
