Research featured at Technology Day
DEARBORN---Research projects that have been conducted by faculty members along with industry partners will be highlighted at Technology Day 2003 from 8:30 a.m. to noon June 4 in the Engineering Complex and Engineering Laboratory Building.
The program is sponsored by the campus's Center
for Engineering Education and Practice.
This year's theme is "Academia and Government Working with Industry
to Solve Problems for Industry and Society."
Dick Ziegler, director of the transportation program for Oak Ridge National
Laboratory, will speak about the challenges facing the U.S. automotive
industry and society's needs for energy conservation and ecologically
A poster session will showcase the collaborative projects of faculty
and industry partners, and live demonstrations will take place in the
laboratories on the first floor of the Engineering Complex.
Dozens of collaborating companies and corporate sponsors including automotive
OEMs, automotive suppliers and non-automotive companies are participating
in the event.
