and amputee bicycle riders
A professor's bicycle accident and his difficulty
riding home with an injured arm was the inspiration for one of the
award-winning team projects in the College of Engineering and Computer

Oras Sultan Naji, a member of the Yemeni parliament,
will participate in "Human Rights and Democracy: A Roundtable

Prof. John Thomas awarded grant to study safer
cleanup of toxic waste
John Thomas, associate professor of biology at the
University of Michigan-Dearborn, received a grant from the Consortium
for Plant Biotechnology Research, Inc. (CPBR) to research a safer
method of cleaning up toxic waste sites. The field work will be
