UM-Dearborn rates high in magazine survey
The University of Michigan-Dearborn was rated among
the top five master's-level public universities in the Midwest in
the annual guide to American colleges published this week by U.S.
News. In addition, the campus's College of Engineering and Computer
Science was rated among the top undergraduate engineering programs

Convocation to welcome students Sept. 7
New first-year students at the University of Michigan-Dearborn
will once again be welcomed to campus with a daylong series of events
designed to initiate them into the academic life. The program was
inaugurated last year and was a major success in the view of the
