MISSION STATEMENT

The Staff Senate of the University of Michigan-Dearborn is committed to being an active partner in campus governance while recognizing the pivotal role of staff as an integral part of the campus community. Through our leadership, we will assist in shaping University policy and promoting a supportive environment.

Second Annual Staff Benefits Report

Dependent Tuition Scholarship
The Staff Senate undertook the project of proposing a tuition assistance program for employee dependents back in 1997. Surveys of staff were taken, results compiled, and meetings with key personnel took place, in order to develop the formal request that was forwarded to the Chancellor in 2002. The Senate wishes to thank the Chancellor and Jeff Evans for making this project a reality for all faculty and staff as of March, 2006. It will be called the "Dependent Tuition Scholarship". All questions regarding this program should be sent to the Director of Admissions.
