Membership Criteria for Tau Sigma

University of Michigan-Dearborn

2013 Induction Year

For new transfer students who started at UM-Dearborn in any one of these terms:

• Winter 2012
• Summer 2012
• Fall 2012

Students must meet the following criteria:

• Have been full time (at least 12 credit hours) in one or more of the semesters listed above.
• Transferred in at least 24 credit hours to UM-Dearborn.
• A 3.50 or higher GPA in the first semester he/she was full-time (first semester of enrollment or subsequent).

Students meeting the criteria above are automatically invited by the national office of Tau Sigma to join.  This list is generated annually in January.  The induction ceremony is held in the spring annually.
