The Women's Studies Student Alliance (WSSA) is an organization dedicated to the exploration and discussion of campus women's issues. They try to promote the image and betterment of campus women through events, newsletters and discussions that raise awareness about the status of women at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Many of the student members (both male and female) are in the Women's Studies Certification Program, and so through their work for campus women they gain practical experience that complements their academic study. We hope that events such as this, the first annual Women's Voices Festival, will lead to an increased awareness about women's issues and will give voice to an important but often unheard part of the human family. To all who have participated and all who support us, we give many, many thanks! Dedicated to Christopher Peter Moss
