Winter 2008 Commencement will be held on April 27, 2008

The Graduation Fair, sponsored by the University of Michigan-Dearborn Bookstore, will be held on Wednesday, March 12 and Thursday, March 13 from 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm. The fair will be held in Kochoff Hall B and C in the University Center. Degree Candidates who have filled out a Degree/Diploma Application, as well as August 2007 prospective degree candidates who signed up to participate in the Winter 2008 ceremony, will be sent information regarding the Graduation Fair.

All degree candidates who participate in Commencement must wear academic attire. Caps and gowns are available for purchase at Barnes and Noble Bookstore from March 12 until April 18, 2008. Please keep your receipt, you must have it to pick up your Commencent Tickets.

Admission to the Commencement ceremony is by ticket only. Ticket distribution will begin on Wednesday, March 12, 2008. Tickets will be available at the Graduation Fair on March 12 and 13. Tickets will be distributed from the Enrollment Services counter, 1169 UC, beginning March 14 through April 18.

Participating graduates must purchase their caps and gowns before they will be issued tickets. To obtain tickets, graduates must present their receipt from the purchase of their cap and gown along with their UMID.

Degree candidates who are unable to pick up tickets (due to off-campus work or internship) may authorize a family member or friend to pick up their tickets. You must provide written authorization for this individual to pick up your tickets. They must also have the receipt from the purchase of your cap and gown.

There will be no extra tickets available.
