Effective January 2, 2008
Fall and Winter graduates: In order to receive a degree, diploma, and participate in commencement students must complete a Degree/Diploma Application. The application should be completed at the beginning of the term in which they expect to complete their degree requirements.
Summer graduates: There is no commencement ceremony in the Summer term. Those who wish to participate in either the Fall or Winter commencement ceremony must complete the Request to Participate in Commencement Ceremony Form. Degree/Diploma Applications should be completed in May or June prior to August graduation.
Degree/Diploma Applications are available online and at the Enrollment Services counter. Applications may be submitted online, in person, by mail or by fax to Enrollment Services/Office of Registration & Records on or before the deadline date listed below. Students not meeting degree requirements must apply for graduation in a subsequent term by the specified deadline date. Expected Graduation Term | Deadline Date | Fall 2009 | October 2, 2009 | Winter 2010 | January 29, 2010 | Summer 2010 | July 2, 2010 | Fall 2010 | October 1, 2010 | Winter 2011 | January 28, 2011 | Summer 2011 | July 1, 2011 | Fall 2011 | September 30, 2011 | In extenuating circumstances, undergraduate applications may be accepted after the date listed above. Applications accepted at this time will require a $35.00 non-refundable late application fee (cash or check only). Payment is due at the time of submission. Applications will not be accepted after the last day of classes for the term the student is graduating.
