Susan W. Martin is Provost and Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs. She is responsible for all academic programs, teaching and research, the excellence of the educational experience of our students, faculty and staff personnel issues, budgeting, resource development, and University and faculty governance. Academic Affairs provides support for the institution's mission of teaching, research and service. It ensures programs of quality that collectively contribute to the intellectual, economic and social well being and advancement of metropolitan Detroit and the world beyond.

Online Academic Integrity Tutorial
The University of Michigan–Dearborn has an online academic integrity tutorial. The tutorial is adapted from the VAIL Tutor at the University of Maryland University College. Inkster Public Schools-American History Grant
U.S. Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings today announced the award of $116 million for 122 new grants to improve the quality of American history education. The grants are being awarded to school districts in 40 states nationwide. One of the recipient districts is Inkster Public Schools, which was awarded $999,995 to support a three-year partnership with UM-Dearborn for k-12 curricular development for teaching American History. Alfred Berkowitz Gallery: Michigan Glass Month
Established in 1997 in honor of Alfred Berkowitz, the Gallery is a showcase for his extensive glass collection and the growing glass holdings that include works by contemporary studio glass artists as well as period and antique art glass.
