Extra Curricular Activities: I have an hour long
show at the University’s radio station (WUMD). I also work
in the Sun
lab inside of the engineering building helping users
who are unfamiliar with UNIX.
Hobbies: I love to read about current affairs and the newest
political spin. Recently I have taken up cooking with earnest
and am quite proud at some of my more recent culinary achievements.
I am willing to make time to golf with friends whenever possible.
Why did you choose UM-D: I was drawn in by the prestigious
Michigan name without the hassles of a humongous campus and
classrooms with 300 students in attendance. I was sold by the
campus’ proximity to my brother’s house.
What is your greatest college experience: I will always cherish
the first day of school. Although it came as the result of
the end of my military career, it signaled the start of a new
and exciting chapter in my life.
What is your favorite thing about UM-D: Opportunities for
one on one interaction with the professors. The reasonable
classroom sizes are conducive to professional relationships
between the student and the instructor being developed.
Do you know what you want to do after college yet: Absolutely!
If it is a matter of want, then I want a mansion and a yacht.
More than likely I will head back to left coast and pursue
a career with the Department of Defense, or as a Defense contractor.
I miss the structure of the Marine Corps.
What makes you YOU: Loyalty, patriotism, a bad haircut and
a crooked smile. I love the Marine Corps and I love my friends.
Although I am older than the typical college student I am intrigued
by the college experience. To know me is to love me. Duplicity
stops here. Semper Fi!
