The focus of my MITTEN project is to examine four models of teaching writing using computer technology. I will describe my experiences in four different ways of integrating writing instruction with current technologies:

• A writing course that meets entirely online
• A hybrid writing course that blends traditional classroom instruction with an online component
• Individual online assignments in traditional courses
• Teaching in a computer classroom
