Imagination is more important than knowledge, for knowledge is limited, while imagination embraces the entire Universe.

                   Welcome to Nicole's e-Portfolio!

Introduction:

  • I am a student teacher in a self-contained fourth grade class at Long Elementary in Dearborn, Mi.  My cooperating teachers are Deanne Jones and Jeff Wozniak.  There are thirty students in my class; with different abilities.  Students come from many diverse backgrounds and bring a wide variety of learning experiences to our class.
  • I am currently attending the University of Michigan-Dearborn.  My major is Science and my minor is Social Studies.  I also attended Henry Ford Community College where I earned my Associate Degree in Liberal Arts.
  • We have a computer lab with thirty computers.  We also have digital cameras, an LCD projector, a scanner, and computers in every classroom.  On top of that, we have a technology teacher at Long School four days a week.  During the week, each class has two assigned computer times.  Because of this, we are considered High Tech Level on the STaR Chart.
