 Our portfolio concentrates on integrating technology into a multidisciplinary unit. Based on the sixth grade curriculum that was covered during the time I was working with my student teacher, Kate Hammond, at Hillside Middle School we selected man made disasters vs. natural disasters as our unit topic.The students used technology, math, science, social studies and english  to research, compare and contrast characteristics of man made and natural disasters. The main focus of our unit was to bring the sometimes abstract concept of The Holocaust, into reality for our group of sixth grade students.
