Using technology helps me to be a "great
teacher". I
love technology
and I love mathematics! This portfolio is the best of both
worlds. I have had a exciting time incorporating technology into
my classroom, lessons, professional development, and assessments.
As the students utilize different types of technology in their lessons,
they are more focused, interested, and yes, inspired! They enjoy
the mathematics and they learn. I thought that if I used
graphing
calculators in my classes that I was technology savvy, but this
project has opened up a whole new world for my students and I, and the
more I implement technology and see the students responses,
the more excited I get about applying technology in my classes.
