Third hour was such a fun class for a couple reasons. From the first day you had such diverse personalities and this made our class very entertaining. Also, we had several jokers who demanded our attention from the beginning. For the most part, this class was full of participation and that is what made it fun for me. Things I would like to remember about this class include one of you NOT singing "I Am Pretty" for the class, another of you wanting more details from the class than what we had time to offer, and another of you anxiously anticipating learning about Vietnam. I learned a lot of tips from you for video games and have been pleased with the suggestions you gave me. It was great to see several of you open up to the class about midway through and begin participating more. One of you knows how to ballroom dance. While they may not show it now, this will grab the interest of some girlies later. Another of you takes great care of your siblings at home. I know how overwhelming it can be sometimes, but your hard work does show. I am fairly certain that one of you smokes in the bathroom before you come to class. You are smarter than that. It was so good getting to know you. I wish I could have gotten to know several more of you. Some of you were more comfortable being quiet during class, but came to chat with me after class. That was real rewarding for me. You have a lot of good history in your background. One of you had to miss a lot of school, and worked real hard to keep up. It was heartwarming to see such dedication and your presence in class was truly missed. Several of you were very competitive. For one of you it was less about friendly competition than it was proving yourself to the class. You do not have to emphasize someone else's failure to seem smart because everyone can see how smart you are without the other's failure to validate it. I was real excited to see some of you do a better job in the class than you thought you could. I also remember one of you being unfairly shouted at by some power-crazed girl working in the post. It was ridiculous, but you dealt with it well. There are so many things I remember about
this class, but I do not have time to go into more depth. The main thing I
will remember about this class is that it was a lot of fun because you
had so many witty things to say. The assignments you handed
in were outrageous because you injected so much of your personalities
into them. I enjoyed seeing many of you
improve and am still shocked at how many of you are so much smarter than
you will show. There were four of five of you I wish I had
gotten to know better, but for those of you who I did get to talk with -
thanks. The class as a whole was fun for me because it was so
interesting to see what you would come up with next. Thanks
for making my days eventful and thanks for all the smiles and laughs.
