This was my coziest class!

Alright, fourth hour, the first thing I have to say to you is that you exceeded my expectations.  In the beginning, I thought I would struggle keeping you under control.  I expected this class to be difficult.  I quickly learned that you were one of the best classes we had.  I got to know most of you pretty well and was so pleased to have had this class.   During class, you asked good questions, paid attention, and performed well on assignments.  It was wonderful spending time after school with your groups on the projects.  Because of you, I looked forward to this class each day.

I remember a ton of things, but I am only going to emphasize a few. I remember a few students getting real upset when we watched the attack scene of Pearl Harbor and am grateful to another who brought in photos of the memorial for all of us to see.  I remember silly socks for the projects and many students working real hard to pull the project together.  Fantastic artifacts and even a website set this class apart from the others.  I had a blast helping you make your videos and will not forget that I had to leave the room for a moment because I was laughing too hard during filming.  I will not forget the student who accidentally told me he was absent because he had to work, or the student who stayed after school everyday for several weeks to chat.  I hope that those of you who were dealing with some difficult and heavy emotions can soon learn to smooth them out without causing pain.  I will not forget the daters, the breakups, or a video's unwilling kiss on the cheek.  Nor will I forget the mountain of friendship and respect built between us.   

Thank you for being such a warm and caring class.  You truly were one of the most memorable classes I had because of how mature and responsible you were.   You proved me wrong by creating a considerate and caring classroom atmosphere.  I never felt uncomfortable with you because I rarely heard you picking on each other and always felt like this class shared a lot of respect toward one another.   Thank you so much for the good memories and being so lighthearted.
