How to extract compressed files by using WinRar

If you don't own any application like Winzip which compresses and extracts files, we would suggest you to use Winrar to compress/extract files. It is very easy to use and install. It supports and fixes many extensions. It can be downloaded from here.

After you installed Winrar on your computer, go to Start > Programs > WinRAR and chose WinRAR from the menu to start the program. We assume that you have already downloaded templates from E-Portfolios section. If you haven't done that, please click on E-Portfolios link from the left menu to do so.

1- On WinRAR application, click on File > Open Archive

2- Browse the zip file that you want to extract

3- Click on "Extract to" icon to move on to the next step

4- Select a location where you want to extract your files to

5- Click OK to extract the file
