The principle goal of education is to create men and women who are capable of doing new things, not simply repeating what other generations have done. -Jean Piaget ![]() WINTER 2004 We were pleased to see each child in the class participate fully in each lesson and activity. The student work samples provided below are just a sample of what was accomplished. We were unable to show all student's work due to space and parental permission requests. We have chosen to use the same three student's work in lessons one through four in order to show the progression of the task. While all students were included in our lesson six Power Point exhibit, only those with parental permission were included in our sample below. We hope you enjoy taking a look at all of our hard work! |

FALL 2004 Science is always exciting for first grade students and the butterfly unit is usually a favorite. Adding technology to the lessons was easy and enhanced the lesson in ways I had not expected. Student work samples below were chosen randomly. We hope you will enjoy taking a look at the lesson plans and the student work provided.
