We enjoyed participating in the MITTEN project.  We believe the project was both beneficial to us as teachers and our students.  Participating in this project allowed us the opportunity to integrate technology into our student's learning and into our teaching.  The students really enjoyed being able to express their creativity and ideas on the computer through stories and illustrations about animals.  As teachers, the MITTEN project opened up our eyes to all the possibilities and opportunities we have at our school to integrate technology into our lessons.   One thing we realized from participating in this project, was how beneficial it was having two teachers, a student teacher and parent volunteers to guide students while using the various forms of technology.  Another thing that we learned was how important it is to integrate technology into all subjects and not teach it in isolation.  Our students greatly benefited from this project and are better able to incorporate technology into all aspects of their learning across the curriculum.
