I have recently completed my student teaching experience in a second grade classroom at Roosevelt Elementary in West Bloomfield.  In May I graduated  from  the University of Michigan-Dearborn with a major in Social Studies and a minor in Language Arts.

Roosevelt Elementary, although located in the West Bloomfield school district, participates in school of choice.  As a result, parents from the surrounding areas have the option of sending their children to Roosevelt.  It is an eclectic school composed of students from West Bloomfield, Keego Harbor, Sylvan Lake, Waterford and Pontiac.

Roosevelt Elementary is located in the city of Keego Harbor but enjoys the benefits of the West Bloomfield school district.  Roosevelt is very fortunate to have a variety of technological resources at its disposal.  As assessed by the STaR chart, Roosevelt Elementary is a mid to high tech school.  I was are able to incorporate many different types of technology into my daily instruction.  Some resources available:
