I enjoyed discovering some of the possibilities that technology can bring to the classroom. My intimidation of technology is slowly dissolving as I experiment with new methods of incorporating technology within the curriculum. I was very pleased with the outcome of the activities that were implemented. However, as with most lesson plans that are done for the first time there were a few changes I would make. While my students and I enjoyed using the Kid Pix program, I would not attempt to do this again unless it was installed in a computer lab.To utilize time most efficiently an entire classroom computer project would not be effective in a one computer classroom. 
 

As most teachers know, it can be difficult to keep a students attention. It was amazing to see the attention the students had when using technology for information or using their skills to create. Each student seemed to come away from a project with a desire to learn more about that topic. It is my hope that their enthusiasm will be ongoing.
