My willingness to participate in the  MITTEN project for the second time is the greatest indicator to prove my embitions and commitment to ongoing lifelong learning.   It is a  valuable experience  for my students.  My students were involved in many technology learning experiences. They were exposed to different forms of using technology that coincides with the district's language art benchmarks and concepts that are being taught. My students' eagerness and motivations of using technology is an evidence that integrating technology in learning subject areas ascalates their motivation and interest in learning.

In my third grade classroom, the students were able to connect to the internet to search for information.   They used the the Appleworks word processor to complete writing assignments.  The students also had the opportunity to explore with the different programs like Kidspiration, KidPix, and PowerPoint to complete tasks assigned to them for this project.  They were able to use a digital camera to take picutres and video clips of their plays.  

As an educator I believe that I have demonstrated the ability to integrate technoloy into my daily lessons in all subject areas.  After being involved twice in the MITTEN project, I feel more confident incorporating technology into my daily lesson plans.  It has been a valuable learning experience for both, my students and myself.
