Alumni Legacy Scholarship

In 1997, the University of Michigan-Dearborn Alumni Society established the Alumni Legacy Scholarship.  The scholarship is appropriately named, as it will perpetuate the legacy of the University of Michigan-Dearborn tradition by providing scholarships to academically talented students with familial or other significant relationships to UM-Dearborn graduates (i.e. child, sibling, grandchild, spouse, stepchild, niece, nephew or cousin).  During 2011, the Michigan-Dearborn Alumni Legacy Foundation assumed responsibility for administering the scholarship.

Since the 1998/99 academic year, the Alumni Legacy Scholarship has been able to assist in the funding of 135 UM-Dearborn undergraduate student educations.

2014/15 Alumni Legacy Scholarship applications were due February 1, 2014.  Contact Mike Santicchia, president of the Michigan-Dearborn Alumni Legacy Foundation, at 248-204-9361 or e-mail with any questions or for more information.  Scholarship offers will be announced by Spring 2014.
