The University of Michigan-Dearborn is embedded in a diverse community located in the Detroit metropolitan region.  The university's students, faculty and staff are as diverse as the community in which it resides.  The mission of the Office of International Affairs (OIA) is to provide support, resources and experiential learning opportunities to students and scholars that will impact the metropolitan region and the global community.  We accomplish this by providing important information regarding immigration regulation compliance, quality service, and educational programs and activities.
