Orientation is designed to help you succeed academically, adjust to collegiate life, and meet new friends and peers along the way. Orientation Dates and Times for the Winter 2010 Semester Winter Orientation is a program designed to assist incoming freshmen and transfer students who are starting their classes in January. All orientation session days begin with registration at 3:30 pm and the program runs from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. You must be present for the entire session in order to register for classes. - Select and register for classes for the upcoming semester
- Be reassured that the University of Michigan-Dearborn is the right place for you to continue your education
Prior to Attending Orientation, be sure to: - Read the website information and share it with your family
- Complete the Placement Exam and Orientation
Reservation Form which involves selecting the best date/time to take your English Composition and Mathematics Placement exams and determine your orientation session. - Receive your placement exam and orientation session confirmations
- Take your placement exams
- Receive your mathematics placement exam results
If you've done all of these items, you are well on your way to a successful start at the University of Michigan-Dearborn!
