UM-Dearborn 2013 Staff Training and Development

Dear UM-Dearborn Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce the UM-Dearborn 2013 training and development programs. The Human Resources team continues to assess the development needs through requests by leadership and staff, review of development plan information on campus, and summary results of the previous staff satisfaction survey results and discussion groups. These training and developmental opportunities are designed to help improve staff performance and contribution levels, as well as further career development potential by helping to develop an individual’s knowledge, skills and abilities.

Prior to registering for courses, staff members should meet individually with their supervisor to collaboratively identify which of these programs is most appropriate to attend based on individual developmental needs and interest. Additionally, Renee Mainor, Deborah Kamber, or Kela McClure are available to meet with you to assist in enhancing your development plan.  Furthermore, we can assist you with identifying developmental opportunities that may not be provided in these offerings, yet are very important to an individual staff member.

To register for any of the following offerings please contact UM-Dearborn Human Resources at 593-5190 or email human-resources@umd.umich.edu.
