Preventing and resolving conflict is important to UM-Dearborn. We strive to have a welcoming environment for all. Supervisors work to maintain a positive work environment where employees can thrive and grow. One of the main responsibilities of the HR Consultants is employee advocacy for university staff members and leaders. HR Consultants work with employees and supervisors to assist with the resolution of conflicts or concerns within the workplace for non-bargained and bargained for staff through interpretation of the standard practice guide, contract language, or best practice. HR Consultants are also available to assist departments/units that would like help with team and relationship building, or conflict resolution.
