Free event will help high school sophomores jump-start their college search
DEARBORN / June 5, 2007---High school sophomores can jump-start their college search by attending “Transitions: A College Prep Workshop” from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 26 at the University of Michigan-Dearborn’s Fairlane Center North Building, located off Hubbard Drive, between Southfield and Evergreen.
The free workshop, sponsored by UM-Dearborn’s Office of Admissions and Orientation, will provide students and parents with interactive sessions about how to be successful in college, finding the right college major and career, securing financial aid and scholarships, and writing a college application essay.
