'Transfer Advantage' events
New admissions program targets transfer students
DEARBORN---The Office of Admissions and Orientation at the University of Michigan-Dearborn will host two events geared toward transfer students in the coming weeks as part of a program called "Transfer Advantage."
The first event will take place Wednesday, March 15 from 11 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. at Kochoff Hall inside the University Center, located off the campus's Richard Drive.
A second event will be held Tuesday, April 18 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Room 1227 of the campus's University Center. Students can register for either session by calling (313) 593-5550.
Participants will hear presentations from representatives of the admissions and financial aid offices, receive transfer tips from current UM-Dearborn students, take a campus tour and have the option to speak with an admissions counselor and apply for admission.
