Kindergarten open house Feb. 2

Early Learning and Child Development Center at UM-Dearborn will host kindergarten open house

DEARBORN / Jan. 17, 2006---The Early Learning and Child Development Center at the University of Michigan-Dearborn will host a kindergarten open house from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 2 in the Kindergarten module, reached via the campus's Fair Lane Drive, west of Evergreen Road.

The kindergarten is accepting applications for Fall 2006, and is open to children who will be 5 years old by Dec. 1, 2006. The center offers a full- and half-day developmentally appropriate kindergarten program from September through June. The program offers active learning in a stimulating environment with an excellent teacher/child ratio. The UM-Dearborn center is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, and also offers toddler and preschool programs.
