'Jumpstart Your Path to the 21st Century'
School of Education will present an educational technology conference for teachers and administrators on Tuesday, Feb. 24.
DEARBORN / Feb. 20, 2009---The School of Education at the University of Michigan-Dearborn will present an educational technology conference for teachers and administrators called “Jumpstart Your Path to the 21st Century” on Tuesday, Feb. 24.
The conference will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the campus’s Fairlane Center North Building, located at 19000 Hubbard Drive.
Pamela Livingston, author of the book 1-to-1 Learning: Laptop Programs That Work, will give the keynote presentation at the conference. Livingston will demonstrate a 21st-century technology-infused classroom activity with 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with students and learn more about innovative learning practices.
