DEARBORN / March 31, 2009---The University of Michigan-Dearborn will host a Pre-med Information Night from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, April 27 for students interested in pursuing a medical career.
The free event will give participants an inside perspective on what it takes to get into medical schools from students and alumni who have been successful, according to Christopher W. Tremblay, director of admissions and orientation. Attendees will hear from a panel of students and alumni as well as UM-Dearborn pre-medical studies advisor Mark DeCamp, professor of chemistry.
The Pre-Med Information Night is a great opportunity for our students and alumni to share their journey about and tips for entering medical school, Tremblay said.
