Admissions to host college prep workshop

High school sophomores and juniors can receive college help during interactive sessions

DEARBORN / June 9, 2006---High school sophomores and juniors can jump-start their college search by attending “Transitions: A College Prep Workshop” from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 27 at the University of Michigan-Dearborn’s Fairlane Center North Building, located off of Hubbard Drive.

The free workshop, sponsored by UM-Dearborn’s Office of Admissions and Orientation, will provide students and parents with interactive sessions about how to be successful in college, finding the right college major and career, securing financial aid and scholarships, and writing a college application essay.
