DEARBORN / Aug. 30, 2007---Charles Pugh, weekend news co-anchor on WJBK-TV and morning host on WJLB-FM, will discuss race, homosexuality and the media during “A Conversation on Race” from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14 at the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place in the University Center’s Kochoff Hall, located off of the campus’s Richard Drive.

The event is sponsored by UM-Dearborn’s Student Activities Office, the Women’s Resource Center’s S.A.F.E. program and New Detroit, a coalition of Detroit-area leaders who focus on the issue of race relations and economic and social equity.
