Alumna Mary J. Lore will present a workshop geared toward banishing counterproductive thinking

DEARBORN / Feb. 23, 2010---Alumna Mary J. Lore, founder and CEO of Managing Thought, LLC, will visit the University of Michigan-Dearborn this week to present a workshop about her new book and audiobook, which are geared toward banishing counterproductive thinking.

The workshop, titled “Managing Thought: How Do Your Thoughts Rule Your World?,” will be held from 8 a.m. to noon on Feb. 26 at the Fairlane Center.  Lore will sign copies of her book following the workshop from noon to 12:30 p.m.

Lore, who earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance at UM-Dearborn in 1979, is an internationally recognized leader, public speaker, executive mentor and author of the book Managing Thought: Think Differently. Think Powerfully. Achieve New Levels of Success along with the audio book Managing Thought: How Do Your Thoughts Rule Your World?

Lore has devoted 30 years to serving as a CPA, senior executive, business turn-around expert, entrepreneur and mentor to corporate leaders. She has successfully assisted others in North America and Europe through her corporate and public workshops, and has spent thousands of hours working with CEOs, managers, employees, teachers, parents and teens.  Since 2002, Lore has served as a chair and expert resource for Vistage International, also known as TEC, the world’s pre-eminent organization for the personal and professional development of CEOs.
