Adolph Mongo

Political Analyst, Owner at Adolph Mongo & Associates, Inc.,

Mongo has served as a consultant and political strategist for several Detroit mayors, which includes Coleman A. Young and Kwame Kilpatrick. He is known to serve well-paying clients from any part of the political spectrum, including conservative republican 2006 gubernatorial candidate Dick DeVos. He also serves as a consultant for the Detroit International Bridge Company, the owner of the Ambassador Bridge that links Detroit to Canada. Mongo is a contributing columnist to The Detroit News, the Michigan Chronicle, the Michigan Citizen and is a regular guest on WMXD-92.3 FM (Detroit) “Talk of the Town,” and The Detroit News web program, “Hold the Onions," hosted by former New York Times and Pulitzer Prize winning reporter Charlie Le Duff. Two of Mongo’s newspaper attack ads “Lynching is Still Legal in America” and “Sometimes a Handshake and an Acknowledgment Makes a Difference,” spark nationwide controversy in 2005 and 2007.
