FOOD DAY 2012  & SUSTAINABILITY

Join us for the celebration of National Food Day on Monday, October 22, 2012.  Food Day is a nationwide celebration and a movement for healthy, affordable, and sustainable food.

For this year’s celebration, the CIViC has partnered with the Office of the Chancellor and the Economics department to make this event possible.  Come learn about the new UM-Dearborn Student Food Pantry, attend a workshop on extreme couponing, or listen to a talk by Dr. Patricia Smith about the role of economics in shaping the availability and selection of food.
