The mission of Financial Services is to assist management in the effective allocation and use of University resources.  This is done by preparing reports, performing financial analysis/audits, monitoring fiscal controls, and by aiding administrators and managers with financial management needs.  It also helps the public, investors, auditors, and others to evaluate how effective management is in achieving the goals of the organization.   

The accounting staff provides operational support to campus units for accounting systems.  This includes tracking revenues, expenditures, and balances; determining policies and best practices; as well as directing, coordinating, and controlling financial and business operations.

The accounts payable staff provides knowledgeable advice and timely services for processing payments and reimbursements while following proper rules and regulations.
