 P&T Guidelines Guidelines for Preparation and Review of Applications for Promotion and/or Tenure  Faculty Networking System The Faculty Senate's Committee on Faculty Mentoring and Development is pleased to announce the launch of the Faculty Networking System (FNS). FNS is an online, searchable data base of the research and teaching interests of UM-Dearborn faculty. We hope this system will help faculty members more easily connect with others on campus with similar interests. CV Template - Approved April 9, 2007 The CV template was developed by Faculty Senate to help UM-D tenure track faculty to prepare their academic CV for promotion and tenure dossier.  Teaching Effectiveness Taskforce Report Approved May 9, 2005 The Teaching Effectiveness taskforce, having considered the approaches of UM-Ds academic units regarding their provision of evidence of teaching effectiveness for promotion and tenure decisions, observe the following points and make the following recommendations. UMD Faculty Handbook Supplement 2002 This handbook serves as a supplement to the University of Michigan Faculty Handbook for Instructional Staff. The handbook is also complemented by the University of Michigan-Dearborn Student Handbook, which should be consulted for policies and procedures that relate to student academic and non-academic matters. Approved UM-D Bylaws 2005 amended 2008 This document contains campus bylaws on faculty governance. This revised version was approved by The Regents, July 2005, to conform to the University Senate Rules and the University Bylaws. Amended April 21, 2008 regarding apportionment of CASL Senators. |
