| Academic Scholarship For Graduate Students This award recognizes superior academic achievement by degree-seeking students enrolled in a graduate program and seeks to encourage students to enroll in graduate programs. Awards will be based on academic achievement, expectations for continued achievement, academic and career goals, and financial need. Applicants must submit a resume that includes professional and academic achievements (e.g. papers, awards, etc.), as well as community and/or service activities. |
| American Association Of University Women (AAUW) Scholarship The AAUW Scholarship provides incentive awards to women whose education has been interrupted and are now enrolled in a degree-seeking program. Applicants must be women who have had at least a two-year interruption in their education, and are at least 25 years of age. | | General Merit Scholarship This scholarship has a dual function: 1) to reward superior academic achievement, and 2) to help students with the financial burden of attending college. Applicants may be degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate students at UM-D. Students taking fewer than 12 hours (undergraduate) or 6 hours (graduate) must provide a letter of justification, explaining why they are not a full-time student, but will still be considered. |
| Barnes and Noble Book Scholarship The Barnes and Noble Book Scholarship is sponsored by the University of Michigan-Dearborn Barnes and Noble Bookstore. This program is intended to help defray the costs of college attendance by assisting students with the cost of books. Awards are drawn from individual book accounts established for recipients and the UM-Dearborn Bookstore for the purpose of purchasing only textbooks. |
| Special Education Student’s Scholarship The scholarship is funded through generous gifts by Alumni and friends of The University of Michigan-Dearborn School of Education.
