Personal Identification Number (PIN)

The PIN simplifies the application process for both parent and student and provides advantages to the student. Anyone who has a valid Social Security Number and is a U.S. Citizen or eligible Non-Citizen may apply for PIN. Students can use their PIN to:

  • Access your Student Aid Report (your processed FAFSA information).

  • Make corrections to an existing FAFSA.

  • Complete your Renewal FAFSA, if you applied last year.

  • Access your applicant data online.

  • Electronically sign a master promissory note.

  • Access National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) information if you received any previous financial aid.

  • Access Direct Loan information if you have borrowed Direct Loans.
