Biography

Since 2008, Kelly Lenihan has taught full time in the preschool classroom, ages 2.5 to 4.5. She began her teaching career with toddler children, ages 1.5 to 2.5, in 2006. Kelly graduated from UM-Dearborn in 2005 with a Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education with minors in Language Arts and Math. She completed several of her practicums at the Early Childhood Education Center as an undergraduate. Presently, Kelly is in the Masters program at UM-Dearborn working toward her Reading Specialist Degree.

On the personal side, Kelly is married and her husband is from Ireland. All his family is in Ireland and they always look forward to traveling there to visit as often as they can. Kelly and her husband have one son, born in 2010, who keeps them very busy. Kelly is also a parent of a child at the ECEC.
