Biography

Ms. Danielle Muehlenbein began working at the ECEC as a lead teacher in a pre-school classroom, ages 2 ½ to 4 in February 2011. Ms. Muehlenbein is currently co-teaching and a GSRP assistant working with Ms. Finkelstein in a pre-school classroom, ages 2 ½ to 4. She graduated from the University of Michigan-Dearborn in December 2010 with a degree in Elementary Education, with Early Childhood Education, Elementary Science and Elementary Language Arts endorsements. She is working towards a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, with a focus on Inclusion, at the University of Michigan-Dearborn.

In addition to her dedication to the Early Childhood Education Center, Ms. Muehlenbein enjoys spending time teaching and taking dance classes, including tap, jazz, modern, and hula. She is also studying traditional Hawaiian dancing, culture and language in Hawai’I each summer, training to be a graduate of the ‘Olapa (traditional hula dancer) program of Halau Mohala ‘Ilima.
