Summer Banding 1999
RRBO banded on 8 days in June and July, banding 65 new birds and handling 15 recaps of 13 species.  Excessive heat curtailed operations. Here's the summary:
 
Downy Woodpecker - 5 + 1 recap Recap was female from 1995.
Yellow-shafted Flicker -1  
Red-eyed Vireo - 2  
Black-capped Chickadee - 2  
Tufted Titmouse - 1  
Wood Thrush - 6 + 1 Five were locally hatched young.  See Wood Thrush Study
Gray Catbird - 36 + 11 Our bread and butter!
Yellow Warbler - 2  
Song Sparrow - 3  
Indigo Bunting - 1 A nesting female
Red-winged Blackbird - 2  
Balitimore Oriole - 2 3 were HY
American Goldfinch - 1 + 2
