Banding Recoveries
Thus far, 64 birds banded at UM-D have been recovered elsewhere, most within the state of Michigan.

In addition, over 360 migrant birds banded at UM-D since 1992 have returned in subsequent years, including 157 Gray Catbirds, 4 Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, 6 Yellow Warblers, 10 Wood Thrush, 11 Red-eyed Vireos, 1 Eastern Kingbird, 2 Indigo Buntings, and 9 Baltimore Orioles (as of fall 2009).
