The Rouge River Bird Observatory is a donor-funded program.
It relies entirely on external funding for all operating costs,
from postage to printing to equipment to salary and benefits.

SPECIAL SPRING 2009 FUNDRAISER!

A donor to the Rouge River Bird Observatory has made a $10,000 a year pledge for the next five years. He’d like to see that $10,000 matched in additional pledges. So far, $6,000 has already been matched.

The operations of RRBO are entirely funded from external sources. The University provides RRBO with a home and logistical support, but the program is not funded out of the University budget. Since grants and donations are typically cyclical and variable, the predictable, steady income from pledges is essential to RRBO’s financial stability and future planning.

We welcome pledges of any amount to reach our goal. You can also choose the frequency and duration of your pledge. You can even opt to have your pledge start at a future date; reminders will be sent depending on the options you choose. If you cannot commit to a pledge, we always appreciate individual gifts. Whether or not you can make a gift right now, let us know if you would like to be added to our mailing list.

Can you help RRBO meet this challenge?
