  • Common Name: Aquatic Moth
  • Identifying Features: It builds a circular case out of two leaves, usually from water lilies.
  • Time of Year Found: Summer
  • Size of Case from mature larva: 14mm
  • Habitat: The surface of ponds
  • Other Information: Aquatic moths go through complete metamorphosis. The adults are found at night flying in swarms over the pond. I was unable to find a source to identify them to genus level.
