Almost two years ago, we contracted with Sasaki Associates to update the UMD campus master plan.The past few years at UMD has been full of change and growth. Sasaki has looked at each aspect as it relates to the campus master plan and developed a draft plan that reflects the growth we've experienced, and made preliminary suggestions for the next steps.

At the onset of this project, Sasaki met with the campus community for a discussion on the project process and to discuss their preliminary findings. Since then, they have been gathering information and receiving feedback from UMD colleges, departments, Senior officers and a working group of faculty, staff, and students.
