SOUP Dearborn

Back by popular demand, SOUP Dearborn will be happening on Tuesday, March 11 at 11:30 am in Kochoff Hall C, UC.  This SOUP lunch will feature City of Dearborn Sustainability Coordinator Dave Norwood, and project presentations by students around campus sustainability!  Attendees at SOUP Dearborn will vote on their favorite project presentation and that project will receive grant funding from Facilities Planning!

OxFam Dinner

Join the CIViC & the Student Activities Board on Monday, October 28th at 5 pm in Kochoff Hall, UC for the 1st Annual OxFam Dinner!  OxFam America is a global organization working to right the wrongs of poverty, hunger and injustice.  UM-Dearborn, in partnership with OxFam is hosting an OxFam America Hunger Banquet!  Join us.  The dinner will be free -- and will raise awareness about serious hunger issues around the world!

Community Change Corp! NEW!

The CIViC is starting a new service and leadership program called the Community Change Corp (C3) and you can become a founding member!! C3 members will be trained on how to lead service projects on behalf of the CIViC. After a four hour training, C3 members will be in a pool of site leadedrs, ready to serve!  It's a great leadership opportunity, and an opportunity to on next and exciting projects!  If you are interested, register today! The CIViC is proud to announce the development of the first ever SOUP Dearborn, to be held on November 20, 2013 at 5 PM in the House of Maize and Blue in the Union at Dearborn. This program will provide a free SOUP meal (for the introductory SOUP program only), followed by an opportunity to contribute a worthy cause, which will be presented to all attendees at the dinner!  Join us for community, breaking bread, and making a difference!
